About Us
Situated at the "gateway to the Hill Country" for over 30 years, we feature signature margaritas and classic cocktails with regional fusion cuisine from New Mexico to New Orleans. Our restaurant, with its several fireplaces and courtyard views, is a fantastic destination for those who want to relax and enjoy their company. Featuring the only courtyard in Hays County and several private rooms, we have the ability to impress your guests. We can help with birthdays, anniversaries, wedding receptions and just about any kind of celebration you want! We would be happy to help book your next event.

Courtyard
Enjoy the courtyard with its secluded and mature vegetation centered around our fountain. This area can be semi-private or private. Enjoy the sights and sounds while sitting back with friends, family or clients. Accommodations for up to 80 seated or 120 cocktail guests are available.

Parlor A casual setting perfect for smaller events. This area is private or semi-private and accommodates up to 25 guests seated. This room has a fire place and overlooks the peaceful view of our courtyard. This room has an area for a projection screen.

Amethyst A unique space for your special event! The Amethyst Room features a huge stone fireplace, space for a projection screen, and windows overlooking the magnificent courtyard. This beautiful room seats up to 54 guests and may accommodate up to 70 by adjoining the adjacent Parlor room.

Library Lounge Host an intimate event with accommodations for up to 20 seated or 30 cocktail guests. This room has an area for a projection screen.

Entire Restaurant Host a spectacular event with accommodations up to 220 seated or 400 cocktail guests.

Reservations
Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of your signed contract and credit card deposit on 50% of the anticipated food and beverage expense. Palmer’s will “hold” dates for guests although any date held will be considered tentative until receipt of a signed contract. Payment in full is required at the close of your event or the credit card on file will be billed

Menus & Guest Count
In arranging for private functions, the menu must be selected 7 days prior to the event. A final guest count is due (by email or fax) 2 business days in advance or your event by noon or the expected number will become your guarantee. A reduction in your number of guests will not lower the agreed upon minimum expenditure. You will be charged based on this guaranteed guest count plus any additional guests that may attend. Please consult our Event Coordinator for assistance in planning a menu tailored to your guests. Vegetarian options are available upon request.

Beverages
You may choose to offer an Open Bar, Limited Bar, or Cash Bar with liquor, beer, or wine, or a combination of these offerings. There is up to a $100 flat fee for cash bar events. This fee is applied to cover bar staffing. All non-alcoholic beverages are included with your meal with the exception of bottled water and juices. This does include soda, iced tea, and coffee.
